Our Story Begins In The East

More than thirty years ago, the Vuong family emigrated from a small town south of Saigon, Vietnam to bustling Atlanta, Georgia. They believed that the United States was a true Land of Opportunity, and son Khoa knew that with hard work, creativity and determination he could create his own successful life path. He decided to be an entrepreneur when he noticed there was a need for an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Clayton County. He returned to Vietnam to learn the restaurant business from a relative, fastidiously perfecting beloved dishes like pho, Vietnam’s iconic noodle soup. When he returned to Georgia in 2008, he founded VN Pho in Morrow and quickly built up a reputation among the area’s growing Asian community as well as Americans who wanted to try something flavorful and exciting.

“Metropolitan Atlanta is a great place for restaurants like VN Pho” says Khoa Vuong. “Our diverse population is very welcoming, and there are many people who are excited to try new foods with bold flavors.”

If you’re new to Vietnamese food, a good place to start is with a steaming bowl of pho. A few sips of the fragrant broth and some noodle-slurping later, and you’ll already be planning your next visit.
